Three Ways Government Is Trying to Destroy Your Car

Updated on September 14, 2015

Ethanol

The federal government is trying to destroy your car three different ways.

1) The first way is through E25 through E85. In other words, forcing cars that are not flex fuel vehicles to run on much higher percentages of ethanol. If the amount of ethanol used to fuel in combustion engines goes up to 25% or more, a lot of engines that are not now built to take it will be destroyed. Environmental Marxists actually like this outcome. They have never cared for the internal combustion engine and they didn't much like capitalism so crashing our economy by ruining our engines would seem like just desserts in their eyes. Because they are Marxists they believe we would just all go out and buy new cars and new lawn mowers. Since Marxists are not capitalists they don't question where the money will come from in a country where consumers are already strapped with upside down mortgages and foreclosures.

Using corn based ethanol as an additive to gasoline is a very bad idea for many reasons. Chief among them is that it takes more energy to make ethanol from corn than you get when you burn ethanol from corn.

Another reason why using corn based ethanol is a bad idea is that corn is food for people and animals. There is already a drought that is depressing the corn yield in the Midwest. Forcing the use of corn based ethanol for automobiles could cause disastrous rises in food prices worldwide

Global Warning

2) The second way government is trying to destroy your use of your automobile is via Global Warming and Climate Change. These two concepts are used to justify income redistribution schemes called Cap and Trade or carbon trading. As then Senator Barack Hussein Obama admitted on a video that can easily be found on YouTube, the purpose of Cap and Trade or carbon trading is so that energy prices will necessarily skyrocket.

In other words the government is deliberately driving up the price of gas to drive you toward public transportation. They want you out of your car.

Hidden Taxes

3) The third way the government will try to drive the price of buying or owning a car out of reach is via taxes, fees, surcharges, licenses, insurance or any other gimmick that makes buying or maintaining a car more expensive.

Sometimes government is wary of taxing you directly, you might vote out the people who are taxing you. What they do instead is tax businesses, businessmen, shops, stores and warehouses. What do you think all these businesses, companies and corporations will do when their cost of business increases? You already know, they will raise their prices.

A smart government first makes you think that all businesses are run by greedy, evil, cheap people who are always trying to cheat you and who never pay their fair share.

The government then raises taxes on the businesses. Then the businesses raise prices on you. And instead of blaming the government that caused all price inflation, you blame the business that the government told you to blame. In a way it's all an IQ test. Will you test positive for stupidity or will you see government as the sole cause of all your woes--as usual?

It's all your Fault.

You might ask: during the next elections, who backs this government destruction of your right to drive and who opposes it?

All democrats blame Global Warming and Climate Change on you and they seek to punish you either through higher taxes if they can get away with it, or higher prices if they can trick you by taxing business who will pass the increased cost to you.

The republicans propose first to cut spending because all honest people cut first when their bills exceed their income. Secondly they propose to grow our way out of our economic difficulties by mining and drilling the energy that the democrats are too afraid, too green, or too socialist to use.

No Car for You!

Do you remember the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld? In the State of California we have "Car Nazis". Their basic premise is: No Car for You! Their latest trick is to increase the taxes, fees and penalties required to buy gas, drive a car, or to merely own a car to such astronomical rates that no one would could afford to drive. The governor and legislature were recently caught trying to pass a law that would have mandated that Californians could only have half the gas they used last year. So you could drive to work but the state would prevent you from driving home.

The most peculiar thing about the radical, environmental Marxists that masquerade as democrats is how eager they seem to be to punish the working poor. The working poor are the people who have the least amount of flexibility in their work and finances. So they cannot run out a buy a car that uses half as much gas. They cannot drop their high commute job easily get a job that requires less of a commute. The democrats have already given all those low commute jobs to foreign criminals (aka illegal aliens, aka undocumented democrats).

It is very odd that many if not most of the incentives and tax breaks that the democrats put into law to supposedly save the planet can only be taken advantage of by wealthy Californians. Only the wealthy can afford to buy expensive green cars. Only the wealthy could buy a green car that does go very far on it's nightly charge because for the wealthy it's just a toy. For the working poor, getting stuck in a traffic jam and having your electric car run out of juice before you get home would be less than amusing.
